Rivian tops 3,000 workers at plant in Normal
Rivian has hired about 1,000 people in central Illinois in the last three months. As of Monday, the company said it has 3,060 workers at its plant in Normal, easily making the company McLean County's third largest employer, ahead of Country Financial and behind Illinois State University and State Farm.

Heyworth schools make temporary move online amid COVID-19 outbreak and staff shortage
Heyworth Community Unit School District 4 has pivoted to remote learning because of a coronavirus outbreak. Superintendent Lisa Taylor informed parents of the 934 students in the district on Monday that students will learn online for the rest of the week.
