Falling Water House Restoration Benefit
Aileen LeBlanc of member station WYSO reports on a quartet of musicians are trying to raise money to help pay for the restoration of architect Frank Lloyd Wright's Falling Water house. The group has composed music they say was inspired by the house itself. They will be performing their work tomorrow at the house in Mill Run Pennsylvania.
Pathways to Housing
A program called Pathways To Housing has developed an unusual approach to housing homeless, mentally ill substance abusers: offer them apartments of their own, straight off the street. Right now, the program operates in New York City and it places few conditions on the people it houses. Critics of the program say giving an apartment to this population is risky. But studies may suggest otherwise. Robert Siegel explores this program.
White House & Fbi Files
GOP congressional leaders are not satisfied with the White House apology for the staff's 1993 handling of FBI background files on people including prominent Republicans. Chief of staff Leon Panetta says the White House obtained the files by mistake, and an apology is owed to those people. But House Majority Leader Dick Armey is calling for hearings on the incident. NPR's Mara Liasson reports.
Low-Income Housing
More than a decade after a lawsuit charging Dallas with racism in its public housing policies, public housing units will soon be built in Dallas' white suburbs for minorities. NPR's Wade Goodwyn reports that while some white homeowners worked to forge a compromise on the project, others remain angry about having public housing in their neighborhood.

House Judiciary Committee Chairman Jim Jordan called for a third vote Friday on his nomination to be speaker of the House, telling reporters the House needs to "elect a speaker as soon as possible."
