Normal Town Council adopts Vision 2050/Sustainability Plan
The Normal Town Council on Monday approved a new sustainability plan that focuses on what the town will look like in 2050. Council members also approved a new site plan for Rivan and rezoning a lot for multi-family housing.
New Secretary Picked to Lead Smithsonian
The president of Georgia Tech University, Wayne Clough, is named the new head of the Smithsonian Institution on Saturday. He becomes the 12th secretary in the institution's history. When he begins in July, he'll face myriad management and financial obstacles.
