Mexico Confronts Woman's Right to Abortion
A young Mexican woman denied an abortion after she was raped as a teenager will now receive compensation from the Mexican government. That news follows a study by Human Rights Watch asserting rape victims in Mexico are routinely denied access to safe abortions. Project Oz broke ground Thursday on its long-awaited building expansion that will make room for the Youth Education and Support Center that could open in as early as six months, CEO Lisa Thompson told WGLT. She added that groundwork is set to start next week.

At least 133 are dead and more injured after an attack on a Moscow concert hall
Several gunmen wearing camouflage burst into a concert venue and opened fire. A fire broke out and some were trapped inside. Eleven people have been detained, Russian officials said.
