Virtual fencing uses GPS collars, sounds and electrical cues to move cattle across a landscape. Along with saving ranchers time, researchers say this new technology can help protect, and create, wildlife habitat.

U.S. Museum Collections in Dire Condition
A new survey shows that museum collections are deteriorating. More than 3,000 institutions participated in the study by ranking their own preservation practices, and the results were alarming.
