Avocado shipments from Mexico are resuming after the U.S. lifts its ban
The U.S. had halted inspections of avocados from Mexico on Saturday, after a USDA inspector received a verbal threat.
Cyberattack disrupts operations at Bridgestone, which has a plant in Normal
The company sent workers at many of its facilities in the U.S. and Canada home after the attack began early Sunday morning. Company spokesperson Emily Weaver says the incident was ongoing at the Normal-based plant as of Monday morning.
Piecing Together Joseph Cornell
A new exhibit celebrates Joseph Cornell, one of the most influential and idiosyncratic American artists of the 20th century. The self-taught artist created small wooden boxes filled with knickknacks he collected in New York junk shops. As David D'Arcy reports, the results were beautiful, almost religious creations that inspired just about every visual artist who followed him.
