Three Rivers Stadium Destroyed
Host Bob Edwards remembers Three Rivers Stadium in Pittsburgh. Yesterday, the 30-year-old stadium, a Pittsburgh landmark, was destroyed as part of a nationwide effort to make way for a modern generation of stadiums.

Mandela's Defense Speech
A recording of Nelson Mandela's defense speech, delivered before his imprisonment on Robben Island in 1964, has been deciphered by the British Library using one of the last surviving machines capable of retrieving it. On the 11th anniversary of his release from prison, the tapes capture Mandela's defiant closing words to a three-hour speech given at the end of his trial in Pretoria.
