Gambling and Teens
Tandaleya Wilder of member station WSHU reports on a recent survey of teen gambling in Connecticut. The Connecticut Council on Problem Gambling found that 87-percent of high school students had gambled at some point in their lives. The state-sponsored lottery was their favorite form of legalized gambling.

Arthur Miller on Politicians as Actors
Ahead of his delivery of a Jefferson Lecture in Washington, D.C., playwright Arthur Miller talks about his lecture topic: Politics and the Art of Acting. He calls it an "attempt to contrast the sincerity of certain people with the performance psychology of so many of them," from FDR, Clinton and Gore to Reagan and George W. Bush.
