Boy Hit by U.S. Missile Gets Medical Help
A 9-year-old boy wounded in a bombing attack in Iraq a few years ago is now in Southern California, ending a years-long struggle by a Hollywood screenwriter and other Americans to get the boy and his mother out of the country. Mostafa's odyssey began four years ago, when his neighborhood was hit by a U.S. cruise missile that strayed off course. Four American soldiers have been arrested for allegedly participating in the rape and murder of a young Iraqi and her family in March. The charges follow the earlier arrest of Stephen Green, discharged from the Army for a personality disorder, for the same incident.

A brokenhearted husband dies after his wife is killed in the Texas school shooting
Joe Garcia had dropped off flowers at his wife's memorial on Thursday, The New York Times reported. He "pretty much just fell over" after returning home and died of a heart attack, his nephew said.

Crips Co-Founder Williams Put to Death
Stanley Tookie Williams, a co-founder of the Crips gang, dies by lethal injection at San Quentin prison, where spent the last 25 years of his life. Supporters said the convicted killer was a changed man who worked from behind bars to end gang violence.
