The Immigration Project is marking 20 years of serving immigrants throughout central Illinois and parts of southern Illinois. To meet an increasing caseload, the group recently opened a satellite office in Champaign. WGLT's Judy Valente talked with executive director Jasmine McGee about how the immigration picture has changed -- or not -- over the past two decades.

The Immigration Project is holding a luncheon celebrating its 20th anniversary tonight, November 10, 2015 at Second Presbyterian Church in Bloomington. The group is honoring longtime community activist Cristina Deutsch with its first ever Immigration Hero Award.
