Illinois State University students watched and then celebrated the Chicago Cubs win the 2016 World Series. Many students spent time in Uptown Normal to watch the intense game against the Cleveland Indians. The Chicago Cubs kept the lead for most of the night until inning eight. With a player on second base, the Indians hit a homerun making the score tie 6-6. But after an extra inning the Cubs pulled through with a final score of 8-7.
