The fall 2025 student interns at WGLT include, clockwise from left, Courtney Conroy, Kirk Whitsitt, Vashti Reed, and Colleen Holden.

Back to school season means Illinois State University students are finding new roles at the WGLT studios. We have 11 student interns – six returning students and five new students – for the fall semester.

WGLT interns make meaningful contributions to what our listeners and readers enjoy each day. Each intern is paid or receives class credit and works alongside a full-time member of the award-winning WGLT team.

Please join us in welcoming these students to Bloomington-Normal’s Public Media and keep an ear and eye out for their work this semester.
