A member of the Midwest Leadership Board for St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital says no child will lose their care as the affiliation with OSF HealthCare comes to an end.

OSF HealthCare Children’s Hospital of Illinois and UICOMP will end their affiliation with St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital in a major change for Peoria's regional destination healthcare provider.

A charity run from Bloomington-Normal to Peoria turns 40 this year. It was the first of more than 30 satellite fundraisers convening in Peoria by foot. Proceeds support St. Jude Children's Research Hospital and its affiliate clinics across the country — the first of which opened in Peoria in 1972.
