WGLT FCC License Renewal Post-Filing Announcement

On Nov. 23, 2012, WGLT was granted a license by the Federal Communications Commission to serve the public interest as a public trustee until Dec. 1, 2020.

Our license will expire on Dec. 1, 2020. We have filed an application for renewal with the FCC.

A copy of this application is available for public inspection at www.fcc.gov. It contains information concerning this station’s performance during the last eight years.

Individuals who wish to advise the FCC of facts relating to our renewal application and to whether this station has operated in the public interest should file comments and petitions with the FCC by November 1, 2020.

WGLT Translator (W278AE, Peoria) FCC License Renewal Post Filing Announcement

On July 1, 2020, Illinois State University filed an application with the Federal Communications Commission in Washington, D.C., for renewal of the license for FM Translator Station W278AE, Peoria, Illinois. The transmitter site is located at 500 West Main Street in Peoria. The station operates on Channel 278 (103.5) with an effective radiated power of .05 kW. The station rebroadcasts the programming of WCBU HD2, 89.9, Peoria, Illinois.
