A loading dock accident crushed and killed a man Wednesday morning at Sam's Club in Normal.
Normal Police said they found 51-year-old Allen Liesman of Lincoln in between the dock and the trailer of his semi. The early autopsy shows Liesman suffocated in what's called compressional asphyxia.
Officers said the federal Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) will investigate. That's the arm of the Labor Department that looks into workplace injuries and deaths.
The call came just before 6 a.m., and the McLean County coroner pronounced Liesman dead a few minutes before 7 a.m.
