Leah Marlene will perform Saturday, Aug. 27, at the Corn Crib in Normal.

Weeks after she made the top 3 of "American Idol," Normal native Leah Marlene will be playing in her hometown.

Marlene has announced a homecoming concert at 7 p.m. on Saturday, Aug. 27, at the Corn Crib in Normal. Doors open at 6 p.m.

Marlene said in a social media post the performance will include fellow Idol finalist Fritz Hager. The Tyler, Texas, native made the top 5 of this season’s talent show.

“It’s going to be a huge production. There’s going to be a video wall. I’m going to have a full band,” Marlene said in the announcement.
She also teased the announcement of a second special guest next week.

Tickets go on sale at 10 a.m. Friday, July 1.

Marlene, 21, had been scheduled to perform during a downtown Bloomington concert and Make Music Normal earlier this month, but those commitments were made prior to Marlene's appearance on the TV show.
