“Thor: Love and Thunder,” one of the biggest summer blockbusters, is now in theaters.

It’s the fourth in a series of increasingly silly but heartfelt standalone Thor stories in the Marvel movie-verse, starring Chris Hemsworth and directed by Taika Waititi.

WGLT's Psych Geeks – aka Illinois State University psychology professors Scott Jordan and Eric Wesselmann – are experts in decoding and dissecting comic-book movies and pop culture. They spoke with WGLT’s Ryan Denham about finding the humanity in a story about a God.

Ryan Denham is the digital content director for WGLT.
