Kiejoun Watts, 20, of Bloomington, was found dead Feb. 20 on a church property in rural Bloomington, authorities said.

The McLean County sheriff said Monday they've found the vehicle sought in connection with last week's homicide. No arrests have been made.

McLean County’s sheriff’s police found Kiejoun Watts, 20, of Bloomington, unresponsive on the property of Victory Church in rural Bloomington on Feb. 20. Watts had been shot to death. The police who found him were responding to a report of unusual activity on the property at 18180 U.S. 150. Victory is undergoing reconstruction after a fire destroyed the church last year.

Authorities said Feb. 21 that they were looking for a black 2015 Lincoln MKZ sedan in connection with Watts' death. That vehicle was found at around 10 a.m. Monday, said Sheriff Matt Lane.

Authorities said "no further information that can be released at this time." Watts' family told WEEK TV in Peoria that he was not associated with Victory Church.

Anyone with information regarding this investigation is asked to contact Detective Hanner at (309) 888-5063 or Lt. Tuttle at (309) 888-5928 or the McLean County sheriff’s office main line at (309) 888-5019.
