Connect Transit says it will reinstate fares starting on Sunday.
Rides on the Bloomington-Normal bus system have been free since June 15 because of a problem with the bus fareboxes. The issue has been resolved.
Connect Transit says riders who had active passes from May 17 to June 14 can get them replaced at no charge at its offices on Wylie Drive.
Connect Transit will cover the remaining rides on the pass prior to the zero-fare period.
