Here are 3 things to do for the weekend of March 22-24, 2023, curated by WGLT's Lauren Warnecke. You can find more coverage on our Datebook - Arts & Music page or by subscribing to WGLT's Weekend Scoop email newsletter, which goes out every Friday.

50 years and 21 women: The League of Women Voters and McLean County Museum of History co-host an interactive tour of the museum focusing on the past half-century of advancements in women’s rights. Stick around after the event for a celebration of WGLT’s 21 Women Who Shaped Bloomington-Normal. 2 p.m. Saturday beginning in the museum’s courtroom; free.

Jazz UpFront gets a little funky: If you haven’t yet heard Decatur’s rising stars Harlem Hayfield, get on it! The self-identified “rustbelt soul” band is nothing but a good time, returning to Jazz UpFront after a successful debut there last summer. Quick tip: This is not an acoustic show and can get quite loud—err on the safe side and bring earplugs just in case. Opening the evening is an up-and-coming Chicago neo-soul band, Little Victory. 8 p.m. Saturday (doors at 7 p.m.), tickets $10-$15 online and at the door.

Easter pre-gaming: There are Easter egg hunts this weekend in Bloomington and Normal, plus a niche version for your furry fam at Maxwell Dog Park.
