Trace Adkins to perform in October at Grossinger Motors Arena

Country music star Trace Adkins is set to perform Oct. 25 at Grossinger Motors Arena in downtown Bloomington.

Known for his deep baritone voice, Adkins has had a successful 25-year career in country music, selling over 11 million albums and charting numerous singles. He also has received various awards and Grammy nominations.

Adkins, a longtime member of the Grand Ole Opry, has expanded his career into film and television. His debut album, Dreamin’ Out Loud, came out in 1996, and he has since released several hits, including Every Light In the House Is On and This Ain’t (No Thinkin’ Thing). His latest album, The Way I Wanna Go, marks 25 years in the industry and features collaborations with artists like Blake Shelton and Snoop Dogg.

Presale tickets go on sale at 9 a.m. Thursday, July 18, at grossingermotorsarena.com. Tickets for the general public go on sale at 9 a.m. Friday, July 19.

The fall lineup at Grossinger Motors Arena also includes performances from Marlon Wayans [Sept. 20] and Dropkick Murphys [Oct. 24], as well as the Bloomington Bison starting their inaugural ice hockey season, also in October.
