Authorities have raided at least two pawn shops in Bloomington.
As of late afternoon Tuesday, a number of government SUVs were at Midwest Exchange on East Empire Street in Bloomington.
Bloomington Police confirmed Monster Pawn on RT Dunn Drive in Bloomington also was blocked off and law enforcement officers were present, but referred all other media inquiries to the Illinois Attorney General's Office.

"Investigators from the Illinois Attorney General's organized retail crime task force executed a number of search warrants today as part of an ongoing investigation," said AG Deputy Press Secretary April McLaren.
People were loading items from the Midwest Exhange store onto a U-Haul van behind crime scene tape.
The AG's office declined further comment, including whether there are more business locations affected. McLaren only noted that there were a number of warrants in play.
Monster Pawn also has a location in Springfield.
