Video: Free Narcan dispensers at Health Department, Chestnut in Bloomington

Emily Bollinger and Melissa Ellin / WGLT

The McLean County Health Department installed its new opioid overdose reversal drug dispenser on the first floor following weeks of supply delays.

It's the second vending machine-style distributor of Narcan — the name-brand nasal spray Naloxone — in Bloomington.

Chestnut Health Systems installed a more traditional vending machine at its building on Martin Luther King Drive in west Bloomington a few months ago.

Anyone is able to use the machines to get Narcan at no cost.
