A man is dead following a car crash in Normal on Tuesday morning at the intersection of College Avenue and Veterans Parkway, police said.
Normal Police Department [NPD] says officers arrived at the crash site around 8:45 a.m. and saw one vehicle that appeared to be involved. An unconscious male was reportedly inside.
Normal Fire Department provided aid, but the man was pronounced dead at the scene, according to police. His identity has not been released.
Police and the McLean County coroner are investigating and plan to release more information.
Earlier in the day, NPD reported there were serious traffic delays near the crash area, according to a Facebook post.
