Students and community members seeking information on mental health activities and services can attend a two-day event next week at Heartland Community College.
The college will host “Mental Health Matters” featuring activities and collaboration to promote mental health awareness.
The event is scheduled for 11 a.m.-1 p.m. Monday and Tuesday in the Workforce Development Center at the Normal campus on Raab Road.
Heartland’s student counseling and wellness services offer confidential therapy sessions, mental health peer advocates, a stress reduction lab, and a food pantry.
