Bloomington Police say they have made a second arrest in connection with a shooting last August.
Police took Navarro Godfrey, 18, of Bloomington, into custody Monday following a report of an attempted car theft in the 300 block of East Jefferson Street.
A grand jury had indicted Godfrey on Jan. 29 on weapons charges stemming from the prior incident.
Godfrey faces aggravated battery, aggravated unlawful possession of a weapon, criminal damage to property and other charges.
The shooting happened in the 300 block of West Graham Street on Aug. 16. A 21-year-old man was hospitalized and a nearby residence was damaged by gunfire.
A 17-year-old male was arrested days after the shooting.
