Van Wilson, 57, was pronounced dead at Carle Hospital in Urbana on Tuesday night. The alleged shooter faces preliminary charges of murder and aggravated battery.

Body camera footage from a police shooting in Lexington has been released by the Illinois State Police [ISP]. The video shows the suspect pointing what appears to be a gun at approaching officers.

A man injured in a shooting in Normal early Sunday morning is in the hospital in unknown condition.
