A man injured in a shooting early Sunday morning in Normal is in the hospital in unknown condition.

Normal Police Department officials say the department received multiple calls around 3:20 a.m. of gunshots in the 600 block of South Linden Street, in an area southeast of Uptown.

Responding officers interviewed multiple people in the area and learned a possible gunshot victim had been transported to a local hospital. Police found a man hit by gunfire at the hospital.
