A 26-year-old man from Normal, convicted on multiple child pornography charges, has been sentenced to 60 years in prison.

Scott T. Johnson pleaded guilty to eight counts of child pornography involving a victim younger than 13, and one additional count of child pornography possession of film or photos.

Officials say Johnson was identified in 2020 as allegedly possessing child pornography by the a Normal Police detective assigned to the Illinois Attorney General's Office Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force.
