The Illinois State University football team earned a double-overtime victory, 38-36, over North Alabama on Saturday at Hancock Stadium. The Family Weekend game included two hour-plus weather delays.

The No. 4 Redbirds are now 3-1 on the season. They're back in action Oct. 4, when they welcome No. 1 North Dakota State for a 6 p.m. kickoff to open Missouri Valley Football Conference action.
