Video: The creators behind the spooky Halloween decorations house on Clayton and Oakland in Bloomington

Have you seen the Halloween decorations at the house on Oakland and Clayton in Bloomington? WGLT spoke with the community-minded creators about why the spooky season is so special to them.

Spooky season is here, and one house in Bloomington is getting a lot of attention for its impressive Halloween decorations.

It's located at 516 S. Clayton St. alongside Oakland Avenue. The entire front yard of this corner house is decked out with famous horror-movie characters, scary lighting, and more.

WGLT recently visited the coordinators of this epic display, Susan Rush and CJ Ledinsky, as well as collaborator Heather Brown, to learn why and how they do it.

If you want to check it out, Friday, Oct. 23, is a good time to do it. They're hosting a community night from 4-8 p.m. with photo opportunities, free cider, baked goods and other surprises while supplies last. They'll be selling raffle tickets for raffle baskets, with a winner picked lived at 7:45 p.m. All raffle money and donations go to the American Cancer Society.
