Police are investigating a robbery at University Liquors in Normal, on West Beaufort Street near the Illinois State University campus.
A person with a mask reportedly displayed a handgun.
The report of a person with a gun prompted a campus wide alert, though not a shelter in place. A suspect is still at large, but University Spokesman Eric Jome said ISU is now telling people to go about their normal business.
Normal Police have taken charge of the case and are continuing to investigate.
