Bloomington Man Charged With Sex Abusing Victim Over 60

Bloomington and Normal Police report the arrest of a Bloomington man who is accused of sexually assaulting two women in December.

Bloomington and Normal police say they continue to investigate a Bloomington man who is accused of sexually assaulting two women.

Matthew Price, 32, of Bloomington remains jailed on a $50,000 bond.

McLean County prosecutors have charged Matthew M. Price, 32, with aggravated criminal sexual assault and criminal sexual assault.

Normal Police said the first incident was reported on Dec. 5 involving a female victim over age 60, triggering the aggravated criminal sexual assault charge. On Dec. 10, Bloomington Police received a sexual assault complaint from a separate victim.

Police arrested Price on Jan. 9 and he was formally charged in McLean County court on Jan. 10. He remains jailed on a $50,000 bond. He is scheduled to face arraigment on Jan. 25. 

Police said Price was an acquaintance of both victims but have offered little details about the incidents.
