McLean County Names McKnight To Lead Health Department
McLean County health officials have chosen a county health director in Missouri to lead their health department.
The McLean County Board of Health on Wednesday named Jessica McKnight as its new county health administrator.
McKnight replaces Camille Rodriguez. In April, the County Board picked her as the new county administrator.
McKnight has served as director of the St. Francois County Health Center in Farmington, Mo., since May 2017 and previously served as an assistant director for two years and nine months, according to her LinkedIn profile.
She also spent 5 ½ years with the Southern Illinois Healthcare Foundation in Bethalto, where she managed human resource functions and electronic health record systems, according to a news release.
Tammy Brooks, who oversees clinical services, including immunizations, has been serving as interim administrator since June 1.
McKnight starts on Jan. 27, 2020. Her annually salary will be $92,461.
The McLean County Health Department has about 85 employees and an annual budget of about $8.5 million.
