McLean County health officials announced no new COVID-19 cases on Monday, while five more patients have recovered.

The McLean County Health Department has 241 confirmed coronavirus cases. Monday marks the second consecutive day the county hasn’t had any additional cases.
Nearly 90% of the county’s COVID-19 patients have recovered, while 14 people remain in isolation. The county hasn’t had any COVID-19 hospitalizations in the past week. Thirteen patients have died.
According to the Illinois Department of Public Health (IDPH), McLean County has surpassed 10,000 COVID-19 tests conducted. That makes up about 6% of the county’s population. Illinois is approaching 1.2 million tests administered.
The county's COVID-19 positivity rate is 2.3%, down from 2.6% last week, according to the McLean County Health Department.
COVID-19 testing continues daily from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. at the Interstate Center in Bloomington.
All four regions of the state are seeing improved health metrics in recent weeks that would enable them to move to Phase 4 of the Restore Illinois plan on June 26. Phase 4 allows for gatherings of up to 50 people, and allows schools, child care centers, bars and restaurants to reopen.
