Early voting for all McLean County residents (including those living in Bloomington) will be available this week from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. at Grossinger Motors Arena in downtown Bloomington.

Early voting in Bloomington will resume Monday after being paused because of a mistake on the ballot.

The Bloomington Election Commission (BEC) suspended early voting Thursday after discovering the error. Two judicial retention questions were mistakenly left off the ballot.

A corrected ballot is now available. Early voting for all McLean County residents (including those living in Bloomington) will be available this week from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. at Grossinger Motors Arena in downtown Bloomington.

BEC Executive Director Tim Mitchell said Friday the office likely will send a new mini-ballot to affected voters, with only the two missing questions. All ballots cast will be counted, he said.

"The Bloomington Election Commission continues to find solutions for the regarding voters who have already Early Voted or Voted by Mail," Mitchell said Saturday.

Early voting for McLean County residents who do not live in Bloomington was not affected. They are served by the county clerk's office, not the BEC.

Early voting will expand to Eastland Mall and locations nears ISU later this month.
