Reporter / Video ProducerLizzie Seils is a reporter and video producer for WGLT. She joined the station in June 2026.
You may have seen Lizzie previously on 25News/WEEK-TV in Peoria, where she was a multimedia journalist and evening anchor. The Illinois State University alum also worked as a reporter, news editor and editor-in-chief of The Vidette before graduating in 2021. She went on to earn a master's degree in public affairs reporting at the University of Illinois - Springfield, where she covered the ins and outs of state politics for communities across downstate Illinois.
Lizzie is a 3-time Illinois News Broadcaster Association Crystal Mic winner (2024, 2025), and a recent winner of two Regional Edward R. Murrow awards (2025).
