
Rich Egger
Rich has served as TSPR's News Director since July 1998. The news department has earned walls full of reporting awards since then. Before coming to TSPR, Rich worked professionally in commercial radio news at WRMN-AM/WJKL-FM in Elgin and WJBC-AM in Bloomington. Rich has a B.A. in Communication Studies with an Emphasis on Radio, TV and Film from Northern Illinois University. In Rich's leisure time he spends way to much money on vinyl records. He also enjoys books, cross-country skiing, rooting for the Cubs and Blackhawks, and making various baked goods, including sugar frosted chocolate bombs. His future plans include getting some tacos, especially when Sandra's Authentic Mexican Truck is in town.
