Travis joined the GLT staff in 2007 as assistant to the general manager after serving five years as a broadcast journalist, radio host, and public affairs specialist for the U.S. Navy. Promoted to the engineering department in 2009, he is responsible for the station's IT infrastructure, radio equipment and operations.
Travis is a Bloomington-Normal native and graduate of Illinois State University.
