The third man convicted of murdering a homeless man in Bloomington has received a 32 year prison sentence. 21-year old Tory Washington admitted joining Anthony Davis Dickson and Willie Chambers in kicking and beating 56-year old Ronald Smith in the summer of 2014 at O'Neil Park.
Smith died a month later of sepsis caused by internal organ ruptures.
Washington received the lightest of the three sentences. Chambers prison term is 42 years and Davis Dickson received 40 years. Police said the killing started out as a robbery and escalated.
