Green Top Grocery has hired a new general manager as the co-op continues its turnaround effort.
The board of the grocery that puts an emphasis on locally produced food has hired Christa Kramer.
Kramer has eight years of experience in various management jobs at Whole Foods in the Chicago area.
She replaced an interim manager hired in March who came from a national cooperative grocery support network to aid in the turnaround as the co-op faced an operational deficit.
