The McLean County Health Department reported the 11th case of COVID-19 on Saturday, while Illinois health officials counted 13 new deaths, including an infant.
McLean County Health Department spokesperson Dion McNeil said in a news release the latest COVID-19 case is a woman in her 70s. McNeal said she is recovering at home in self-quarantine.
The health department reports about 160 tests have been conducted through the Illinois Department of Public Health and commercial labs. Of those, 110 have come back negative, while 40 remain pending.
McLean Countyhas had one COVID-19 death.

McLean County health officials have said they expect increased testing would likely increase the number of COVID-19 cases in the county. A mobile testing site set up at the Interstate Center in Bloomingtonwas relatively quiet soon after it opened Saturday morning.
The site will be open 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. daily to certain health care workers, first responders, seniors and patients with underlying medical conditions.
Illinois Department of Public Health Director Dr. Ngozi Ezike reported 13 new COVID-19 deaths on Saturday, including an infant in Chicago and an Illinois Department of Human Services employee.
“There has never before been a death association with COVID-19 in an infant,” Ezike said in a statement. “A full investigation is underway to determine the cause of death. We must do everything we can to prevent the spread of this deadly virus. If not to protect ourselves, but to protect those around us.”
The state reported 465 new COVID-19 cases on Saturday, bringing its total to 3,491 cases, including 47 deaths.
Macon County reported its first two confirmed cases of the coronavirus disease on Friday. According to WILL-AM, one patient, a female in her 50s, is hospitalized in stable condition. The second, a male in his 60s, is being quarantined at home with mild symptoms.
