Photos: Costume Creativity at Uptown's Treat Feast

Trick-or-treating may have not started till Oct. 31, but some families got a jumpstart on the holiday.

The streets of Uptown were closed Oct. 30 from 5-6:30 p.m. for Treat Feast, an annual trick-or-treat event. Parents took their kids to the Uptown shops for a fun and safe trick-or-treating experience. On Halloween night children are twice as likely to get hit by a car. Excitement, high energy, and poor visibility all are factors.

Photos from the event can be viewed in our gallery above. Highlights include a father as Prince Charming and his young daughter as Cinderella in her carriage made out of her stroller; a father and son burger duo; and Pennywise The Clown holding hands with Georgie. We're not sure if that last costume was the kid's idea.
