An ISU researcher is coordinating a huge study of military personnel and their hearing health after explosions with a group of military scientists in San Diego. ISU Professor Tony Joseph says the first paper from the research was just published. He says the clinical practice guidelines are two to three years away.

Joseph says they don't have the answer yet, but have built a database to get there.
