Carol Rofstad

A successful fundraising effort will bring a memorial bench to the Illinois State University campus honoring Carol Rofstad, a student who was murdered 50 years ago. It remains unsolved.

At the time a senior at Illinois State University in 1975, Carol Rofstad was discovered outside her sorority house on Dec. 22, badly beaten and suffering from hypothermia. She died on Dec. 24.
