A study done for the City of Bloomington has estimated the cost to dredge Lake Bloomington at more than $35 million.

The City of Bloomington is trying to figure out how it will meet future demands for drinking water.

Sue McLaughlin will fill a vacancy left by Jeff Jurgens, who moved up to city manager in May. McLaughlin served as assistant city manager in Bloomington a decade ago, and was most recently city manager in Farmer City.
