Woodford County Sheriff's office Chief Deputy Dennis Tipsword says the crash happened shortly after 8:10 a.m. Tuesday on Route 117 and County Road 500 North. Police say a motorcyclist rear-ended a pickup truck pulling a trailer.

Dennis Tipsword is abandoning his re-election campaign for state representative in the 105th District to run for Woodford County sheriff in 2026.

Chief Deputy Dennis Tipsword said in a news release the department was notified at 5:15 p.m. Sunday that the boy had been swimming with a group of other juveniles and adults in the pond when he was reported missing.
