Bloomington Police Searching For Suspect Following West Side Shooting

Bloomington police are investigating an early morning shooting on the city's west side that has left one man hospitalized.

According to a release put out by the department, a 26-year old man was found lying in the intersection of Olive and Euclid as police responded to a call after midnight. He was taken to Advocate BroMenn Medical Center in Normal, where his injuries are not believed to be life-threatening. The victim was being treated for a gunshot wound to the chest.
