OSF St. Joseph Medical Center President Lynn Fulton will move to Hawaii to head the Maui Health System.

OSF HealthCare St. Joseph Medical Center in Bloomington needs a new president.

Current president Lynn Fulton is leaving in December to become CEO of the Maui Health System in Hawaii. Kaiser Permanente owns the system that has three hospitals and two clinics.

Fulton has spent six years leading the Bloomington hospital and 22 years in health care. Fulton said she is grateful for the opportunities she's had at OSF.

“I am leaving a piece of my heart behind; this ministry has provided me with opportunities to grow my leadership skills and faith,” said Fulton.

Fulton began her health care career in 2001 at Kewanee Hospital and became CEO there in 2012. When OSF absorbed the hospital in 2014, Fulton headed the new OSF St. Luke Medical Center in Kewanee until the move to Bloomington in 2017.

OSF said it will announce transition plans later.
