26-year-old man hospitalized in Bloomington shooting

Bloomington Police are investigating a shooting in which a 26-year-old man was hospitalized.

Police were called to the 300 block of Erickson Avenue on the city’s west side around 5:20 p.m. Sunday for a report of shots fired.

Officers said they found the male victim with an apparent gunshot wound. Bloomington Fire Department paramedics took the victim to an area hospital.

His injuries don’t appear to be life threatening, according to police.
